The 2nd Graduation and 44th Induction & Conferment Ceremony of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG) marked another proud milestone in our journey to advance marketing excellence and professional growth. It was a special moment for me, one that reminded us why we do what we do: to raise standards, celebrate achievement, and inspire the next generation of marketing leaders.
We were honoured to have Dr. Emmanuel Newman, Director of Tertiary Education at the Ministry of Education, Ghana, serve as our Guest of Honour. He emphasised the crucial role of professional bodies like CIMG in bridging the gap between academia and industry, ensuring that education translates into real skills, innovation, and impact. His remarks reinforced the importance of collaboration in shaping the future of marketing in Ghana.
This year, 83 graduands completed their various stages of professional marketing qualification programmes, while 129 members advanced through different levels of membership within the Institute. The inductees comprise 9 Fellows, 57 Full Members, 44 Associate Members, 16 Emerging Associate Members, and 4 Corporate Members, each reflecting our shared commitment to building a strong, professional, and ethically grounded marketing community.
As part of our membership drive in the first year of this administration, we continue to create opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and collaboration. I am pleased to share that CIMG will soon launch the CIMG League Table, an initiative that recognises organisations investing in the professional growth of their teams, because investing in people is, indeed, investing in Ghana’s future.
To all our graduands, inductees, and conferees, congratulations once again. I encourage you to keep pushing boundaries, remain committed, and uphold the values that define our profession.
