March Reflections – THE MGA JOURNAL

As I look forward to a new month and the opportunity to take one more step forward, impact the next generation, and grow MGA Consulting Ghana Ltd., I paused to reflect on March 2025 and “count my blessings.”

March was a significant month at MGA Consulting Ghana Ltd. We are energized by our achievements and excited about what lies ahead.

The team was able to complete the first draft of the much-anticipated nationwide study on the “Consultancy to Conduct an Analysis of the Potential of Green Businesses in Ghana” project in partnership with GIZ Ghana. This study assesses the opportunities within Ghana’s green economy, identifying high-growth sectors such as renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, circular economy, and green finance. It also evaluates policy effectiveness and funding opportunities while mapping key stakeholders to recommend strategies for scaling green enterprises. By strengthening access to green finance and enhancing workforce training, this study aims to provide a roadmap for sustainable enterprise development and economic transformation. Once approved, it will serve as a practical guide for investors, policymakers, and industry leaders.

We also officially launched the National Sales Leaders Conference (NSLC) 2025 at the Accra Marriott Hotel, with over 80 CEO/MDs and top industry sales professionals attending. This platform is designed to bring together top sales professionals and business leaders to discuss strategies for sales excellence. Sales remains my passion, as it is the engine of business growth, and this event is poised to deliver transformative insights and industry connections. From August 19th to 21st, the main event will be hosted at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), and I hope you do not miss it.

Additionally, we reached the final milestone of conducting a Trainer of Trainers (ToT) for six (6) Credit Union representatives in the “Designing a Framework on Women’s Inclusion for the Credit Union Movement in Ghana” project, in partnership with Deutsche Sparkassenstiftung für Internationale Kooperation (DSIK) & Ghana Co-operative Credit Unions Association (CUA) Ltd. This initiative is crucial to strengthening gender-inclusive financial institutions, ensuring greater representation of women in leadership, and expanding financial access for female entrepreneurs.

Looking ahead, April presents new opportunities. One of the highlights will be my swearing-in as President of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG), later this month. It will be an honor to serve and contribute to advancing the profession’s standards across Ghana.

Meanwhile, we are also working to finalize the “Development of a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan for the AfCFTA Secretariat” project in collaboration with GIZ and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat. This project is designed to ensure the Secretariat’s preparedness for potential disruptions by developing a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan (BC/DRP) while training key staff to lead recovery efforts. The outcome will be a more resilient institution with a clear strategy for maintaining operations during crises.

As we embrace the new month, I’d love to hear from you. What achievements are you proud of from March, and what are you looking forward to in April?
